A PEEK into Life at SP

Students from Woodlands Ring Secondary School learning about fragrances at SP’s Perfumery and Cosmetic Science Centre.

In October 2017, more than 2,000 secondary three students from 14 schools took part in SP’s Applied Studies Experience and Industry Exposure Programme (ASEIEP). ASEIEP gives secondary school students the chance to find out more about life in a polytechnic and the different industries they can enter in future. Here are some highlights from the four-day programme!

Boon Lay Secondary School students were given a brief to design a product for the elderly at the Design Studio!

Students from CHIJ Saint Theresa’s Convent proud of their project! At the School of Architecture and the Built Environment, students got to experience planning, designing and building their own “dream city”.

Queensway Secondary School students at SP’s Optometry Centre, where they got to experience a simulated visual world allowing them to see things with a different pair of eyes – quite literally!

Queenstown Secondary School students at SP’s Aerohub, located at the School of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering! This state-of-the-art facility simulates a real working environment.
